Yeah does anyone know where I can get a new set of seals for the rear opera windows? I need to remove the windows to repair some minor rust. Also the seals are a little worn out and the passenger side has two small holes at the base. :?: Guess some *ss jack thought the glass would come out that way. 😛 Thanks

There arent gasket type seals behind those theres a urethane sealant that doesnt ever cure. They call it rope caulk I believe, it comes on a roll in different size beads. When you pull the windows get some soapy water in a spray bottle and soak the side of the car around and under the glass to keep the old glue from messing up your paint. Its nasty stuff, id wear gloves too... it s pretty messy to clean up.

Thanks for the heads up on that part. But I was also referring to the rubber border of the opera windows.

Thats all one piece unfortunately... if its messed up you can try trimming the rubber with a razor blade but your probably better off finding another window. there different depending on if your car had a vinyl top or not. I got some for about 25 a side from carpart.com after I took off my vinyl.

Thanks I took one off just to see its construction and now I know. But looking at mine. There all pitted and the passenger side got some major abuse. I don't know what someone was thinking but they drilled this tiny holes two at the base and two at the side of the window. I'll just have to raid the yards again. While the rest of the car may be gone I always see the rear windows. But finding a decent set is the key. 😀

I had the glass replaced because of a accident in the 90's and they reused the outside seal chrome so they r not one part
