i'm curious to see how many peoples cars got hit by dumb a$$ 's on the road from front ends to rear ends, side hits just want to see how these cars hold up with such accidents from 86sleeper that posted the hit on the side door he must hit you really hard for the roof to bend out. crasy

Had a drunk girl back in 87' kick the front part of the right 1/4 panel of my 79' Malibu. She would have done some real damage if she wasn't falling backwards when she done it
It only scuffed it,but made me pretty mad.

But luckly no one's hit my 79' Malibu.

Now my Dad's old wagon got a motorcycle handlebar poked into the right front fender at Bristol Raceway in 86' by the guy he beat in the $2000.00 points race from our hometrack :x
Put a nice little punch mark, but no hole in the fender.
I had just painted the car for my Dad a week earlier. And this turdhead done it intentionally.Don't think he didn't hear it from me.
The car still wears the scar to this day.

My first malibu got hit my a lady who ran the red light. She hit me where the door and the fender meet. The frame twisted and the upper control arm folded right in. The chassis twisted so bad the quarter panel bubbled out. I flew across the bench seat ( no seat belt) thankfully I wasn't hurt. All the damage was done by an 87 sentra and all that seem to be damaged on her car was the rad, bumper and grill. I was so mad especially since the car was so mint.

My car was smashed in the front end. First owner, as the story goes, smashed something good. Car was junked for front end damage. Junkyard put on a new front end and sold it (can confirm that much) and the po bought it. Car looked fine. Po was driving along and some teenage girl tries to pass him on the right during a right turn... Her excuse was that she "thought he had the other blinker on".
This is the damage from her nailing the 1/4, bouncing the car and hers off then smashing (45* t-bone type collision) into the door/fender at a good rate of speed. Probably 20mph or so.

This dent was a hard enough hit to push the car partly sideways so she could get a nice inward hit on the door with the corner of her bumper.

Doesn't look too bad, but I'm pretty sure it was messing with the window track, the door was binding on the fender, and there was a puncture hole through the door. This is how I bought the car.

Guy drove out infront of me from an alley about 200 feet from my house. Bent up my fender, dented my quarter, and ripped my header pannel up. I dont think he stopped. If he did he would have saw me. Then 1 month later, a deer jumped out in front of the car and killed my healight bezels, but what made me mad was destroying the 81 grills. Plus it completly destroyed my header and bent my hood. About the only consolation was I have a spare hood, fender, header panel, headlight bezels and some other little stuff. The only thing that I had to buy was a quart of paint, a set of broken 86 grills, and pay $325 for the body shop to pull out the quarter, and block it. If I knew what to do I would have done it myself.
What it was like before

What a ford looks like that hit me

What its like now, primer spot, a mis matched header panel, and a dented fender.

Ohh, and kinda another one, what happens when an 80 442 hits a post and sits in a salvage yard

This is what happened to my GP when some old man pulled away from the curb and across two lanes of traffic, and hit me. I was only doing about 20, and he was doing maybe 10 mph, but it was enough to crush the fender in about 4 inches, and bend the knuckle and upper control arm. The guy then had the nerve to tell the cops that I was probably on my cell phone and didn't see him pulling out. The only damage to his late 90's Century (what else?!) was some scuffs on the bumper/headlight. I'm just incredibly thankful neither the header panel, nor the door that I had just replaced a month before got too messed up. Just some scrapes on the header, and a couple very shallow dents in the door. The door needed some body work anyways, so it wasn't a big deal. The plus side of the whole story is that the insurance company gave me just under $1800 for the car and totalled it. Grand total of the cost of repairs? $300. I ended up using the rest towards my wedding a couple months later. All in all, I'm kinda glad the old fart hit me.

This is my very first GP, 1984 Grand Prix. Spent 6 hours detailing the car that day. Driving home at 3am with 2 buddies on the right lane on the highway, cruising at just below the speed limit, and very little traffic on the road.

Enter young drunk punk b*tch driving mom's car, he's late, he's drunk, and he's falling asleep at the wheel. He was coming at me so fast, I could see the headlights coming for me like missles in the rear-view mirror -- there was nothing I could do...

The T-roof popped off, and the frame bent down to the ground, which is how I was able to coast to a stop (I had lost all brakes). Obviously, the car was totalled (and man... was I ever PISSED  )
