So this morning I go out to my 85 cutty to go to work and started the car up, after 3 -5 mins I notice smoke coming out from under the hood and notice that coolant was leaking bad, I check for leaks, nothing. I haven't check the oil or nothing beside leaks. Any ideas?

It's the olds 3.8l v6

I think you have a Buick v6 but it doesn't matter. If you cant find the leak your local radiator shop will be able to pressure test your system for you, or you may be able to rent a pressure tester for a small amount.

My guess is the water pump, the Buick v6 has a reputation as a tough reliable engine within its limitations, the one I had in my Century wagon had 200k+ miles on it when I sold it and was still running well.
But they aren't bulletproof and water pumps can leak on any engine (not a VW bug though! :lol🙂 .

Roger.
