Hey all, I'm working on my 85 Elk, which I've done a 12 bolt swap from a 72 Chevelle and a disc brake conversion. So obviously when I did the conversion, the parking brake cables for the Chevelle are very different, so I purchased disc/parking brake cables for the elco but the passenger side seems to be too long. Is there a special cable made for the swap that I can buy? I've searched for a different cable, but with no luck the only other thing I can think is cut and shorten it which I'd rather not do. And also, thinking about this is making my brain hurt. How does the equalizer bracket actually work? Because the way the lines run, the bracket is clipped onto the drivers side cable, which doesn't allow he bracket to move... but with the threaded adjust for the passenger side mounted to the equalizer, wouldn't it have to move to set the passenger side brake? Any tips/help are appreciated. Thanks in advance! Pic attached.
