Passenger door lock issue/question

[83hurst-olds]

My passenger door locks work with the electric on my 83 Hurst Olds, they also work with the key, if you lock and unlock with the key. However, if you use the electric lock, the lock goes down further into the door (about the same as it does on the driver side, which does work) and then you can't unlock it with the key.

Any ideas?
