Looks like a really nice car! I like thet color.

Thanks 8) I like it.........it was my 3rd car, but the first that i really drove much.
You can't really tell in the pics but its actually got metallic flakes in the paint (the paint is not original, the whole car was repainted 10 years ago after i got rear-ended).
It's mostly an original car, except for the paint, radio, and instrument cluster (i swapped in a rally pak)

That car looks great! I hope my paint can hold up like that for 10+ years

Thanks.... The reason it looks as good as it does is it's been garaged and/or under a cover and not driven for the last 5-6 years.... (was active duty AF and didn't really have time to mess with it)

I just replaced all the gaskets/seals in the engine.trans about 1 1/2 ago and pull it out on nice days (meaning no falling weather). Still have some kinks to work out before it can be driven regularly (idles rough, sometimes dies) I think it needs a fuel pump (why I didn't replace it while the engine was out I can't figure out), and an O2 sensor

I still need to get the landau top replaced because its cracked (thats why its stays inside in falling weather), and it appears to be time to replace the weather stripping too (its cracked and can hear wind when driving too)

Nice lookng ride, don't see too many stock cruisers this nice anymore. Usually they get attacked with oversized wheels and candy paint jobs or get a modified street look or fake 442 badges.
Do you have any plans for it?
I think some chrome 14" SSIII's (not 15" 442's) with white walls or raised white letters would look cool on it.
They would still be stock since they could have been ordered with the Supreme or Brougham package.

There were also the snowflake style 14" aluminum rims that came stock only for the 1988's I believe as well.

I would love to find a set of the crome SSIII's for it. Right now i've got a set of the ones that are supposed to be painted the color of the car, i just need to get them painted. If you know of anyone that wants to trade a set of those for the crome ones let me know. 8)

I'm thinkin about painting the bottom silver like the 442's. I'm kinda gonna make it a 442 clone without the actual badging. I've got a set of buckets and console/floor shifter that i'm planning on putting in it. Just need to get the seats recovered in blue (there faded red right now).

I'd also like to find an Olds 350 to drop in it.

Right now though its staying stock (except for the instrument cluster, which I already swapped out), unless I can barter for things. Since money is really tight right now.

wow both those colors would look good, glad to hear your keeping the top on it too. I like your plans for the car sounds like a nice project
