This is my 1977 355. The engine bay is not finished, but some of the oddities you can see are the white temp gauge that is screwed into the thermostat housing, and the gray hose that connects together the two oil cooler lines to bypass the leaking cooler in the lower right hand corner. The air cleaner is a Monte Carlo 305 lid on a 1984 HO 305 Camaro base. I have the hoses for it, and i also have the A/C parts but am waiting until I finish the body and paint to install it.

The specs are: 9.5:1 compression, World Products S/R torquer heads, XE262 cam, Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock TES Headers, 1979 Quadrajet carb off a van, etc.

My pile 'o carbs. A Edelbrock 600, Holley 600 smog model, and an odd Holley 3310 750 with 600 float bowls. I was given the Holleys and another 650 Double pumper for free when a neighbor was cleaning out his garage. He also gave me a Quadrajet that I used for a while.
