T-top is awesome.

Questions now:

Do you think it's lowered, I think so but this is the only one I have ever seen for real.
I have found a 1978 Monte T-top for parts, are the top panels the same with my 86? And inside headliner?

The biggest problem here in Europe, is for parts, but i'm not the only european here as i see...
So guys, i'm here to learn and will need help. 😳

Sorry for the quality of the pics, these are from the local craigslist.

See you...

Pit

I really like to see that you European guys like these American cars. I'm sure they really stand out over there, especially a nice SS!

Hi Pit, welcome to the forum
it's nice to have you on board

I want to tell you about our "G-Body of the Month" program. Every month, we pick a theme, and G-bodies that fit that theme can be nominated to win GBOTM! You get your car's photo up on the main page, and bragging rights  , and at the end of the year, you also get your car in our annual calender!

this month happens to be "International G-Bodies", for any G-body from outside North America
check it out:

I think you should submit your car for nomination

Greetings & Welcome Pit; You have found the ultimate parts source, us guys! Have you ever seen a re-badged Holden Monaro? I believe that some were imported into England as Vauxhall's, right hand drive of course. But I've always wondered if any were re-badged as Opel's? Over here they were sold as Pontiac GTO's. Life is like a chocolate chip cookie it's good, the chocolate chips are your friends and occasionally you encounter a nut (us here at car nut central). Bob Jr.

Thank you

Opel never use Us models for european market as far as i know because it's originaly a German manufacturer fallen in GM hands!
Lucky Brits are crazy enough to buy australian cars but no market on continent.
We can't buy any us cars at dealerships sinds early 80's!
Every US cars from the last 30 years in Europe are single imports? Even pick-ups that are so popular.
Only few Corvette where available and sold as brand, not Chevrolet, just Corvette.
That's also why US cars are exotics here.
In these days Chevrolet Europe sale only craps.

Nothing sinds 1990 and the Omega Lotus, straight 6 twin turbo 377hp!

See you...

Greetings Pit & all; Thanks for the information. That question has been banging around in my brain for 8 years. If you are ever able to travel to the states, consider coming for Hot Rod Power Tour. This year it ends in Wisconsin, and I hope to attend the last couple of days. Fly into Chicago and I'll take you with me as my co-pilot if I no-one has purchased the Brown Brick (9C1 Malibu) by then. Bob Jr.

Welcome aboard, Pit,
Always good to see American iron from abroad. Oh, and nice Monte Carlo SS by the way.
