Plug behind ac vents?

Does anyone know what the 3 pin connector behind the center AC vent panel would be for? The vehicle is a 85 Cutlass Supreme.I would have chased some wires but it got dark on me this evening. I took photos but I cant upload them it says I have exceeded my quota size,I reduced the size to as small as I can and I still cant upload :evil:

I believe it was for a clock. Mine had it also.

Thanks,I knew it was for an option but a clock never even came to mind I was wondering if it was for rear defrost or something.

Clock is correct, but earlier Cutlass's also could have had the rear defrost switch there.
My '79 Cutlass had the defrost switch there because there was a cruise control switch where the defrost switch normally is.
