i am on a budget and i was going to get poly bushings all around. now i was thinking i could save a ton of $$ by using rubber bushings. this car is just going to be weekend warrior, will i benefit from the poly bushings enough to spend the money on or not?

poly is the only way to go if you ask me. the rubber ones are mush and do not last long. go out to the garage and take a look at your existing rubber ones and then ask yourself if you want to use those again. i hate rubber, i replaced some suspension parts on my cadillac 2 years ago and 10,000 miles later they were totally trashed again, i wish i could order poly bushings for that car!

Yeah I would recommend to spend the little extra cash and get the poly bushings, they will definately last a whole lot longer.

i'll confuse matters a bit more and say to look into polygraphite at
p-s-t.com they are better than urethane and last longer.

Right, but he's talking about being on a budget.

I would agree, poly is the way to go... polygraphite might be nicer, but if you're on a budget, then regular poly is acceptable.

i think i am going to go with the poly bushings any way. i might as well do it right the first time, instead of doing it all over again in a few thousand miles. thanks for all you responses.!
