Are there various style bucket seats that could be had within the same year? I'm looking at 1981 specifically, not sure what the correct style would be or styles. Also I see some fancier PMD seats from time to time, I think they could be had in Grand Prix's or some g-bodies, just not sure. If anyone has pictures or info.

For '81 I believe there was only the A51 "Strato" buckets which all four divisions used or the G.P. high backs (don't have an RPO handy for those ones.) The "Euro" reclining seats would of been '82 and/or later for except Olds that kept the Stratos. Check this out for brochures to see what was optional. http://www.lov2xlr8.no/broch1.html

Thanks for the link and pics. Those are the seats I've seen the most, at least in the early years. If anyone has a set in the "champagne" color that would be the bee's knees.

I have the 83 PMD's in my Cutlass

I believe the 84 and up GP LE buckets are the most comfortable, and they recline. They appear to be the same seats as the Firebird but with g body tracks.
