I saw this link and more info on another forum. I also contacted Mark (Mad Dog) and got a little additional info. This is what he said,

"I make a round port header in that design also. They're not on the web site yet because its a new design. Headers are mild steel and come unpainted. I sell the d-port and round port for $500. and shipping will be around $25. the round port header comes in 1 3/4", 1 7/8" or 2" primary tubes. with 3 1/2" collectors. I can also build a step header for the d-port ( 1 3/4 x 1 7/8 or 1 3/4 x 2 )."

I had also asked about what mounts were used to locate the engine for his mock up. Some of the pictures that I saw showed the motor on mounts and others showed a motor plate. I haven't been able to get clarification to exactly what was used yet. I'll keep trying...

A guy on another website was able to get some more info about the headers. It sounds like they were designed using the factory 301 mounts. I think this is great news for people wanting to race these cars with Pontiac powerplants. I know I'm sure glad to see it.

I personally don't like headers but a lot of demand is out there. I just forwarded this to the 301 Garage site as I know they are allways searching for Pontiac headers. I wonder if they will fit 301's ?
