I am staring to do my LS1 swap"finally" and with all my planned brake upgrades,13in fronts and 12in rears i need to run a 17in+ wheel. I can't afford to get some super duper wheels ie: Rushforth,Forgeline ETC BUT i found some i would be willing to get, As long as the rotors show through! Anyways if not i need the clearance and a "vibe" that matches my ride. I have been checking these out from Yearone:

Any body have them and the 2nd set has a 5in backspace issue but i'm willing to do a rear frame notch. Alos if i decide to run this setup what tires would you recommend?

GP,
If you don't get input here, you will find a few threads on the PYforums with feedback on the Year One rims.
They look awesome and it sounds like people are pretty happy with them, but most of the comments are relative to A and F body applications.

thanks looked at it a bit through my phone, I am going to check it out later to get more info and reviews both wheels look nice but the Honeycomb wheel scream BADASS! 8) I have seen a GP with the first wheels and they look sweet as well! here is a thread related to GP's wheel options..viewtopic.php?p=180439

So many choices...

You're right; those honeycombs look awesome.

Hey guys, not to be a nit-picker, but the wheels shown are snowflakes and not honeycombs. while similar, they are distinctly different. The honeycombs have sections shaped like stopsigns. Year one also has those too.

personally I prefer the Snowflakes. I have original 15 inchers on my Lemans but would love to get the 17`s someday.

I agree, they would look nice in a bigger size. There was a Lemans for sale near my place about 2 years ago which had some. The only proble was they needed spacers so the tires would not rub the rear inner fender. Unfortunatly, no one makes them in larger sizes that I no of.

i seen my GP's twin a years back with those rims in Denver a while back and it was SWEET!! I tried to buy it but was unable..Didn't have the $$ :? Figured i would build mine up!

I love the snowflakes too.
I have a set of 15s off a firebird (and spacers that came with my car) in a shed.
Went a different direction. Not sure what I'm going to do with them.
