needs a new alternator and new belts, its got a 307, says its 39K on the odometer but with the condition im damn sure its rolled over, ralley gauges, and obviously buckets. its been rusted to sh*t... rear frame rails are non existant, which is why theres no bumper, even the door skins are loose at the bottom. he wants 600, i dont think so. whats more reasonable? i just want it for the seats, steering wheel, and shifter. the engine would be put in my other car so i could drive it around...

Well you can get $350-400 from the crusher/salvage yard for a G body so i doubt you will be able to pick it up for much less. Offer $400 and go from there.

well im trying to get it for even less than that, seeing as hes not very savvy on the value of these things... see hes come to me for parts before so i know everything wrong with it that he probably wouldnt tell anyone else

I guess it comes down to this...what are the parts you want worth? Seats, console, wheel, and a decent engine would be worth the 600 to me IF they wre the right color and I needed them for something I was building.

Around here, cars with those pieces generally go 1500 or so...not usually rusty but typically used up/ dented up.

I'm all for getting a deal, but I have learned that if it's fairly priced, better jump on 'em when they're available
