can anyone please give me a part number for power antena for 86 442? also parts interchange.thanks.also looking to buy one if anybody has a spare in nice shape.

I pulled one off a mid 80's Eldorado and it seems to be a exact one to the on a 85 GP i found in a junkyard awhile back. Could be wrong though did your car come with one originally? If not then you will need the wiring and relay under the dash. I pulled all those parts for my antenna upgrade.

All of the original antennas ,and all the replacement parts are discontinued ,from A.C. Delco and have been for about 6 or 7 years. Many of the aftermarket ones ? JC Whitney Auto Zone are probably better than the OE antenna.

thanks.i know it's discontinued but i see some nos ones on ebay and just thought if i knew the part number i might be able to pick one up.also, yes the car came with power antena option so the wireing and everything is there.just dont work.

Unless you are going for perfect originality, I would recommend aftermarket. J.C. Whitney has 'em for about $60 and I have used several of them and they outlast the car. However, the fender bezel is slightly different. I don't know if you can use the factory bezel with the aftermarket antenna. My '83 Hurst Olds has had 3 Delco antenna kits put in it because it keeps breaking the cable that feeds it up and down. Just that part is over $100 if you can find it, the complete kit is a few hundred used.
