MY POWER ANTENNA MOTER KEEPS TURNING BUT NOTHING HAPPENS THE ANTENNA STAYS IN PLACE
IS IT EASY FIX OR SHOULD IT BE REPLACED.
ANYBODY USED AFTERMARKET ONES WITH LUCK AND NO MODIFICATIONS
I SEE SUMMIT HAS ONE FOR 77.00

They nylon drive cord inside is most likely broken and causing your issue of it running but not moving up/down. These can be had but are expensive. Also, replacing this antenna is a MAJOR pain in the *ss. Be prepared to remove your front fender to do it correctly. I tried it without removing the fender completely and will pay somebody to replace the antenna if it ever quits again. Good Luck. PS. if you do buy the replacement nylon cord, youll need to drill out the rivets that hold the case together to beable to replace the cord, otherwise these Power antennas can cost upwards of $300.00. FYI.
