Ive got this question posted on a few other sites but I can use all the info I can get. I was going to use manual steering on my Malibu but now I decided to go back to power. The brackets that I have are for a V8 with AC that was in the car when I bought it. I took the AC out of the car and changed it to a heater box. Looking at my other gbody the brackets are attached to the pump and also by the header. Im thinking theres a bracket thats made for power steering without AC that mounts to the waterpump and maybe the head. My 400 block has two bosses down at the bottom but theyre not drilled. Can anyone give any info on what will fit ?
