power window & lock switches

I'mthinking about installing different power window and lock switches in my 84 cutlass and wondered if anyone had done this Mod? i was thinking about using the same kind that are in my 92 chevy truck, but wonder if they will work with the original actuaters or if i'll need to replace with the kind in chevy trucks?

Just an update, i finally got around to trying the chevy truck power window switch today and just as i suspected iy fit right into the cutlass PW harness and worked like a charm... looks like it'll be my next mod...

so i've been trying to find a wiring diagram for my 84 cutlass power window and power locks with NO luck, i read a thread here that showed some diagrams but frankly i obviously am not smart enough in wiring to make heads or tails of it. Does anybody know by chance what the color codes for the power switches are and where they go, the 92 chevy truck lock switches i picked out have the same color 3 wire setup as the cutlass but i want to be sure before i blow a fuse or relay.

this update is a lil late but i tried just wiring into the existing wires with the 92 chevy truck switches andthey worked great, i guess GM didn't change anything between 84 and 92 in the power window and power lock system so i've already painted my new locks to go with the new interior color and just need to find another drivers side panel to mount that side and i'll be set to proceed with my build.
