PREPPING BUMPERS AND TRIM PCS QUESTION

Anyone paint their bumpers, the same color as the body? My question is, what did you do to prep it??? I'm about to paint my car...and I want it the same color. What grit did you scratch the bumpers? Any adhesion promoters, etch primer,etc? Also will the method used to prep bumpers, work for all the trim? I want to black out all the trim. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance..

I painted my bumpers and trim the same as the body. I didn't do any special prep work on them. I'm only expecting the paint to be on there for a couple years, so I wasn't too worried about it.
