im in the process of restoring my 1983 cutlass, and i am completely blacking it out. i was considering doing a flat black primer paint job versus a regular gloss black paint job. my priginal plans were to have it repainted gloss black and then put 2 fairly wide silver stripes down the center. ive already had the seats reupholstered with 2 stripes in them sort of matching them to the car. but i was curious how a primer paint job would look on a cutlass, with tined windows, black trim, black bumpers, and black trans am GTa wheels with the chrome lip. i was also wondering if 2 dull stirpes could go down a primered car? would this ruin my interior idea?

Nice thing about black, it will usually match any interior color.

If you go with a flat black primer, make sure you use one that is moisture and UV resistant. PPG DP40 epoxy primer would be a good choice for example.
