Thats cool. I live like ten minutes away from the dealership that sold that car originally. Its not the same one right now, I think it closed like 4 or 5 years ago. The guy that bought it, his street is right around the corner from me, who knows if he lives their any more.

I thought it was kinda weird that they showed paperwork with his social security number on it. The original owner might not like that very much.

And of course they cant tell an Olds 307 from a Chevy 305!

you know what else is sad, I was watching PINKS all out today and they said it was "a battle of the fords" when both cars had Chevy Motors in them! It was a 80's ford thunderbird and idk what the other one was. I mean my olds has a SBC but it's still under the GM name

That is a very nice car but I would like it better if it had bucket seats. I think the buckets give the car a whole different look and personality.

i had the chance to buy a 86 regal about 6 years ago that had 50,000 miles, i can not tell you how perfect this car was, it was literally like it had just rolled out of the factory and unlike that cutlass it was loaded, every last option except a astro roof or t tops. it was a burgundy limited and i could have had it for 4 grand, damn why didnt i buy it??!!?!? oh yea, i didnt have the heart to alter it in any way and i wanted a custom..... very nice cutty though

yeah I'm 3rd owner of my cutty. my cousin bought it off an old man and it had close to 50K on the 307. It was a nice car when he had it, a Brougham so it has all the luxurys, but he didn't do take as much care of it as i would if I had it then. he later had a kid and had to let it go to me 😀 I still want to find another one and just leave it alone, of course I'd pay the money for a car in that condition

The cool thing is that it is in beautiful condition. The bad thing is that these cars are not nice to drive by modern standards when left stock. It also lacks a lot of the nicer options like the bucket seats, rally pack, etc. If you wanted to preserve a nice old car, it would be a great one for that. If you want one to drive though, you are better off with a cheaper one that you won't feel guilty improving.
