Been wanting a Monte Carlo for years now, my mom had an 86 aero coupe as her daily driver back in the early 90's. My grand parents also had a 85 SS about the same time. I've just always really loved the look of the cars.
Fast forward to Saturday when this baby fell in my lap.
It's a little rough around the edges, but its a pretty good start. Door shut nice and solid, interior is pretty good in it.
Gotta love the mid 90's Dale Sr. Monte Carlo air freshener!!
Uh yeah, i can appreciate the period correctness of this, but this has gotta go.
Not sure how far the project will go or how long we will keep it. Gonna get into it a little bit and see just how solid of a car it is. If it runs and drives good, I'd like to put some money into it and keep it around for a while, time will tell!
