I just wanted to acknowledge the gargantuan effort that most of the forum members put into turning cars that were manufactured by the millions into the incredible, varied and completely individual expressions of personal preference and taste that can be seen on this forum. (God, I sound like a b*tch!!) I mean it though. A lot of you guys tackle putting cars back together that I wouldn't, couldn't try to salvage. You sign on to frame off restos that you know will take years and much more money than you will ever get back and yet you dive right in. That takes passion and commitment. Congratulations.
As the years have passed, I was always afraid that hot-rodding was going to die a slow death. You guys (and girls) make it obvious that the reigns of hot-rodding have been passed to succeeding generations. That gives me great comfort. (Now I'm going to go have a good cry and fix my makeup. Group hug, anyone????)
