I am swaping my 6 cylinder for a 350 engine with heads for a 305 on it. I took off the pulley setup on the 350 because the vbelt and grooved belt were not lined up properly. Would like to buy a new kit, but I am looking for a cheaper alternative. Any suggestions?

Go the yard or look on craigslist/ebaymotors. You can grab a matched set, bead blast it, and powder coat it or just rattle can pray paint. I know around here the lkq yards dont charge that much for v-groove steel pulleys. But maybe you could just shim the set you have now to make them line up?

I took off my water pump and crank pulleys from my chevy 350 they are powder coated black v belt pulleys, let me know if u need them.. Will sell for good price
