...is there any advantage to setting up an electric fan to push or to pull?
I have room too do either.
Thanks

Both is good, lotsa air movin, only problem with that, although not a major one is extra drain on your alt.

with a pusher fan you wind up heating the air some before it hits the radiator and the fan housing blocks off some airflow. unless you don't have enough room, always use a puller fan.

HaHa...do both..its so easy spending other people $$$. I'll see how one "pulling" does first. Its a big aluminum rad and a 16" 2700cfm fan so im thinking this should do the trick. The old copper one was working overtime to keep the engine cool in traffic... before it puked and died at a car show no less 😳

Thanks
Steve

Pulling is supposed to be better ( I forget why), and push-pull is not very efficient as the pusher tends to block some cooling area off. I guess the puller allows more of the outside air to interact with the surface of the radiator than the pusher then.

I think pulling would be better because then you can have a fan shroud.
