Put my Monte away today....

The Monte went into winter storage today.Its parked with a full tank of gas,with some Sta Bil and gas line anti freeze added.We sprayed some fogging oil in the carb before the engine got shut off,then I poured a little bit of 2 stroke oil down the carb.I put almost 3500 mostly trouble free miles on it.The only small issue was a starter problem in the spring,no big deal.I gave it a couple of good rips in 1st,2nd & 3rd gears on the way out.I miss her already 😢
Now its time to go back to work for the winter.

That sucks! BUT you put in WAAAY more miles on the SS then i have in the last 10 years on my GP !!! 😢

Ill be putting my car awar in the next week or 2. I havent driven it to work in a while because when I leave for work its too dark...Dont want to risk hitting deer. So thats usually a sign to put her away. But I usually back her out of the garage and let her run about once a month or so during the winter.

Im taking her off insurance for the winter and I will be getting classic car insurance for the spring. Save me some money to put towards gas 8)
