i have my exhaust almost on but have a small problem .i have the whole system on the car the pipes go up and trow the cross member iy ends about 18 short of my headers ,i belive the differnce is in the headers that they are not as long as some that i ahve seen on other g-bodys but ave any one that has the pypes system run into this .

yes i had the same issue, if you order their collector reducers the problem is eliminated, i think they are like $60 though, that is what i ran. or you can just get some 2.5'' pipe with a slip koint on one end and hook them up to your own collectors. here check my pics, on the first page there is a pic of the reucer by itself on y toolbox and on the second page is pics of the exhaust installed. hope this helps.

You may not have to resort to pypes to get the extensions... hooker and hedman make much cheaper versions.. but they do the same job

i say this to everyone who asks about it, it is esay to install, not too expensive and sounds real good, especially with a nice set of headers..

if you look through their site they have vid clips of stock cars vs. ones with their exhaust.
honestly i would just get a cheap set of mufflers from NAPA or whoever until you get the BBC going. some of the cheap, sh*t mufflers have a nice sound to them and very low back pressure.
you do need to get a new x-member for true duals.

double thread jack. Theres no way to run my stock xmember and build my own true duals?

Where can I buy said crossmember for my powerglide?
Do you have an extra one by any chance? 🙂

yes it is a nice system and very easy to install , its good priced for stainless steel.i should have gotten it sooner.were i live you cant get a system built for that price.
