I'm in the market for rear coilover setup probably going with qa1's question being what # spring do I get? It's a weekend street raced car with an occasional trip to the track I don't know the weight of the car but it's a carburated heads cam nitrous LS car
I'm going to the track on Friday so I'll get on the scales there but as far and the coil angle I can't really measure that without the coilover installed..
This is a very touchy subject and I have asked similar questions and the general populas sided with
"it depends" on many different things. I find trying to choose a spring rate for said application to be
a tail chase of details. I would try to contact the Manufacturer rep for QA1 for some details. These guys have been doing this for
a good many years and maybe can help with selection based on your input.
