Questions about my 78 Cutlass

Ok, so I have this 78 Olds Cutlass Lowrider that I bought earlier this year. I am getting ready to fix it up and have run across a few snags.

First the wipers weren't working and so I replaced fuses, but still nothing. I replaced the wiper motor and still nothing. I believe it may be the switch. But I can't find another 78 Cutlass around here to save my life. Are there any other year of cutlass that I can get that part from?

Also, I will need the turn signal switch and the inside door handle (driver's side), a grill and some trimming. I went on some other sites and read some comments that the 78 cutlass is interchangeable with 79 and most parts of the 80 cutlass too. Are some of the parts interchangeable with monte carlo and regals of the same of similar year or body style?

little off topic! but concerning your car, ever been caught in rain, in your cutlass? even with top on, how does the rain not run in under that snap button seam?

Yes, 78-80 basically everything interchanges. You could get the wiper switch from a 78-81 Cutlass. 81 was the newer body style, but carried on with the dash mounted wiper switch. Most Interior parts are interchangeable 78-88 Cutlass. Many things are interchangable or will bolt right in from other 78/88 gbodys...cutlass, regal, monte, Grand Prix, Malibu, el camino, etc.
