Racing only aluminum core support?

I was wondering whether this radiator core support piece is for race cars that dont use headlights or anything.

I'm not sure where you are going with that link but it took me to an ebay auction for a mopar b body support. It is for road runners, chargers, coronets and gtx s. Not aluminum either, sez right in the description steel. Those cars are uni body so the body has the place for the headlights to attach. That piece just holds the radiator.
