Radiator Core Support?

Are the core supports for all g-bodies the same? Or which ones are the same? ex: can you swap a monte core support into a cutlass; a 2dr malibu into cutlass; a regal into cutlass? Does the year matter also?

They should all be the same. When I restored my 80' malibu, I swapped in a core support from an 84-85 monte carlo because battery acid had eaten away at my original core.

From 1978-88 They should fit Monte Carlo, Malibu, Cutlass, Grand National, Grand Prix, El Camino, Regal

Nice my buddy had swapped in a tubular support in his malibu and he gave me his original and I was hoping it would work in my cutlass, mine took a little tweak in my accident.

I was curious, so I checked the three core supports I have (84 Monte, 78 aluminum Grand Am, And my 80 El Camino). Other than the headlight holes, they are almost identical. Very little difference between the three I have.
