The last few days ive been working on swapping an engine in my car, taking out a 260 and putting in a 350, and today i was going to buy a radiator but im not positive on which one to buy. Ive looked at a few on summit but im not too sure on which one to go with. Does anyone have any suggestions on which to go with. Im also trying to keep it under $200 if i can

A162/CU162....110.00.....get in the zone... 😀

one of those will pop right in huh, ill have to see if the parts store has one for me

ebay a champion radiator. several distributors of them , 3 core aluminum direct fit. ( I have already done the trail and error on cooling issues. add a dual fan kit from Jegs / Summit ; mine are the 3100 cfm/ built in shroud, a Dakota digital controller .cooling done! now you can concentrate on other stuff.

Im actually about to purchase a champion as we speak, that seems like the best deal and is pretty much what i need. How much would you say the dual fans are?

Dual fans should run ya $40-$60. You can get better if you want to spend a full $100. I recommend getting temperature controlled relays, or just wire them in with a switch.

where do you see them for 40-60? the only ones im seeing are like 200

fans from Jegs #555-52118 / controller (Dakota digital ) #pac 2750 . u will need a extra relay for the second fan , and the sender from Dakota. I have yet to have my second fan come on,( set point @ on 210/off 195 .) these are the third fan / controllers I have bought. wish I had done this the first time! I live in central ;balls hot FL, with the A/C on.

I was running my mechanical fan / shroud .just wanted to free up some HP.

CHAMPION FOR THE WIN... i use a 2 row champion and a single electric fan on my mildly built 350 DAILY DRIVER and she stays plenty cool... i wasnt sure if my gauge was reading right so i bought a laser temp gun and in 90°+ days with my beating the snot outta the car, the highest temp i have been able to get a reading on was in the 190's... i usually take readings off the block, heads, waterpump, radiator and intake... all usually reads between 170°-190°... and just a quick rundown of the engine its cooling; 880 350sbc block, full eagle rotating assembly, lt4 hot cam, +5cc flat top pistons, edelbrock etec 200 heads, 1.6 roller rockers, edelbrock performer rpm intake
