I have been chaseing a slight cooling problem on my 1980 Camino. I noticed that there was a substantial gap all aroung the radiator to radiator support. I'm thinking that Airflow , at highway speed, is going around in stead of through the radiator. I'm seeing at least a quarter inch of gap all around the front of my radiator. And by the way I have a standard AutoBone alluminum and plastic rad..
I want to know is there was any FACTORY shrouding on the front of the radiator between the bumper and Radiator support?. Maybe something similar to those flaps that was covering the upper control arm bushings in the engine bay next to the exhaust manifolds.
I think if i can't find a factory piece it won't be too hard to fab up something to serve my purpose.
