Just wondering if anyone running no heater box has done 3 Gauges plus head unit in the radio face plate? I think this would be a good solution since I don't want a triple gauge pillar? Any ideas or comments?

Not exactly what you wanted. Just ignore the console and you can see where the dash originally ended.
I had it like that in my 78 I had in high school works just fine I just made a alum plate to hold them and the radio worked great
