Weird question I know, but does anyone know what the real top end speed was on the MCSS with the 3:73 gears? Building a ElCamino gen1 350cid 6500rpm cam w/NWC 5spd and a MCSS rear. Probably won’t get it streetable for another year.
My last one many moons ago ran a an Olds 445cid and was good for about 90 and ran out of motor.

Other than you sharing a 373 rear gear there is nothing equal in comparison to a stock Monte SS that would at best have a 305 SBC with a 200R4 with stock height tires, the Monte SS would probably be more aerodynamic but you have a 350 and a 5 speed.
The best bet is using an online MPH calculator and punch in your specs to see where you are at if that is the info you are looking for.

Cool didn’t know they had that. I’ll have to go digging! Thank you!

28” tire, 3.73 in 1:1 (3rd gear if an OD) has been 141 at 7100 and 135 at 6500.

You can calculate converter slip with some long math.

Dam, I’ll have to take my shoes off for the extra for that 😓🤣 I’m showing my French with that statement 😁

GPS People. Pretty sure your cell phone can tell you how fast you're going now days. Oh, and local PD got me for 95 in a 55.. I'm sure I was going faster. 💪💪
Car is not on the road yet,but just trying to do some figuring. Did find the calculator provided by spicer that 565bbchevy was mentioning. May have to get lower gears(4.11’s). I’ll wait and find out first though.

transmission being a T5 I found a camaro site to be close to what the Ratio of 5th might be. May need a bigger set of brakes. Spicer has a calculator that does number crunching
