Hi guys i have a little question i was checking rear axle and i noticed my coil springs are bent backwards (it looks like rear axle is going up) ,i have 1,5 inch lift mounted on my coils (billet aluminium spacer ).
And now the question is that normal springs are like this or there is a way to adjust rear axle i have stock control arms .

I did a 3 inch lift on mine over 10 years ago. And also made shock extenders as well, the key point is to make sure the center of the spring seat ( into a big pipe) so they don't shoot out backwards on you and I also extended my lower control arms 1" longer due to the 8.5 gn diff. My upper arms are adjustable as well and my springs do bend out...short of cutting the lower seats off and remounting them (so the spring sits straight). my car is a daily driver and believe me I drive it like I stole it...have had no real problems

I am also thinking about shock extenders , than you are driving the car whit bent springs and nothing is happening ? and i was thinking about cutting the lower seats and relocate them, because i was thinking i mounted something wrong when i put rear axle back on place .

Ideally yes move the lower seats, I do get excessive wheel hop when at the track last year with drag slicks on this year with the supercharger I could not get the tires to hook. Suspecting that the springs are not pushing straight down may be a little of my problem. Wanting to twist the axle?

Just make sure when the shock extenders are in I does not unload the springs (keeps then compressed) slightly when the wheels are off the ground, hoist, jumping train tracks ect. Lol

P's. Just another note: on mine I do get a little "u" joint binding when the axle is hanging but mine was a 3" lift, just adjusted the upper arm / pinion angle to help with this

because i was thinking is some way to twist the axle to get the springs in right position ? but then i think i need adjustable upper arms because on stock you cant adjust nothing ?

The length of both arms was calibrated by an engineer (I am no engineer) with the springs at a certain length and ride height modifying this does have some nondesirable effects. Upper adjustable arms will not completely fix the problem, that's y I added the extra inch to the lower arms,

When the diff goes down it gets pulled closer to the front of the car, geometry of the 4 link....my tire was too close to the front of the wheel well. Not sure where yours is? But it will not be centered like it was when it was at normal ride height,

This winter I will be cutting mine off the axle and lining them up a little better (that's the plan) when I do the frame boxing in,

my tire is in almost center i think i will go whit relocating the mounts this is the easy way i think

Looks pretty good, I got 275/60R15 under the back of mine, and needed the 3" so the tires don't get cut by the wheel well lip when I have the kids and wife in the car
