so i had to replace my axles and today i was trying to put everything back together and the pinion shaft wouldn't go in. it looks like the two little gears it slides through have moved just enough so it dosent fit in. dose anyone know how to re-align these gears? im not the most knowledgeable about rear ends so any and all help is appreciated.

Rotate an axle or a the pinion a little bit, to get them to line back up.

When you move the pinion you need to hold the axle still and that should shift the small gears. If you still can't get it, pull the axles back out and then line them up and be careful re-installing the axles.

thanks for the help guys. i ended up getting a couple of buddies with pry bars on either axle hub rotating in opposite directions and it lined up after a few tries
