rear seat removal

im trying to remove the upper part of my rear seat in my 79 cutlass i have the lower bolts removed and i thought you lifted to on hook it but its really stuck looked in the trunk for attaching bolts but i dont see any i searched the forum but dident find what i was looking for any thoughts? thanks steve

Since you removed the two bolts, there is 2 hooks behind the seat holding it in place. I use a straight screwdriver and spread the hook apart slightly. After the seat is out you can tap the hook back into place.
