I'm having a little bit of trouble figuring out the trim for my hard top conversion. Is it possible to just screw the clips in to place, or do I need to find someone to weld tabs?

i believe you will need to rivet them in place, they also sell tiny screws that have self-tapping ends, that all you need to do is pre-drill the hole, then screw them in place.ive used them before for some luxury sport trim i installed on a el conversion a couple years back,i cant recall where my lil sis found them? but i recently found them in a hardware store not to long ago.the trim clips you can order from opgi, dixie, etc.

Thanks. I have been contemplating riveting them in for a min now. I just wanted to see what other forum members thought. I appreciate the tip.
