Anybody know of anyone that refurbishes g body 442 wheels? If so, how much?

Thanks.
Gbodyparts.com - Expensive at $200 a wheel plus a core and they are the wrong backspacing, he won't listen to anyone about getting the correct backspacing and chances are he is just ordering them from the vendors below:

Wheels Vintiques:
58-5734044 OLDSMOBILE SS II STYLE
Rim Size: 15 x 7 Bolt Circle: 5-4 3/4 Rear Spacing: 4 1/4
$170.59

I had a set and the chrome was very thin and flaked off on the lips before I could even mount tires on them.

Coaker Tire - the use the same vendor Wheels Vintiques use but are a little cheaper at $142.00 each.

Most places that rechrome will remove your center section and rechrome and weld to a new chrome rim without a full bead like the factory and most likely the rim they use will have an incorrect lip and backspacing as I have heard from others. Make sure you find a chrome shop that will listen to your needs because most won't... most shops are adimant about the backspacing being 3.5" or 4" rather than the correct 4.25" and will tell you that 4.25" is not safe and incorrect.

Nothing beats NOS GM...

If anybody separates them I would seriously doubt if they could get them back aligned right without wobbling.

Not true, shops that specialize in rechroming have a large customer base for wheels.
The rim is heated up and spun at the same time for trueness and then the center section is inserted while it is spinning. It is then dipped in cold water to shrink fit and then weld. It was demonstrated on an episode of American Hot Rod but that show hasn't been on the air for some time now ever since Boyd passed away.
