I am refinishing my limited chrome headlamp trim bezels. I have a 83 with a 84-87 nose.

I am having a differance of opinion of what the correct gloss is.

I goolged and can find pictures of flat, and gloss black. What is correct?

Since I am making a post, also what is the correct gloss of the taillamp bezels also?

Head light & tail light bezels should be a satin black. SEM trim paint is close. It is about 5% duller then new GM. From 3' away most couldn't tell.
If you see a gloss they painted it when the car was painted.

My tail lamps just arrived........

The bezels are more of a gloss, but not full gloss. These are suspose to be untouched
