offer him lower, because the stuff you need to fix is not cheap,make sure the doors are solid, and the rear frame rails are also good. i looks like a decent project though. keep us informed on what you do.

if and only if that thing is solid as a rock would i pay that much for it, that thing needs a bit of work, body parts are getting harder to find everyday! i think 450-500ish would be more fair?

Judging by those original Cali license plates, I'd be willing to bet it's pretty clean...

I'd offer him $500, that thing's pretty wore out, and needs body work all over.

header pannels are very expensive, and you are going to have to get a new fender and door any way. if it has a good frame, offer him 450$ you can always go up but not down. i would say around 550-600 max
