I haven't been able to find any patch panels or any other metal for 1981-1987 Regals from the aftermarket. I believe I've seen rocker panels, but they are the same, as far as I know, for all G-Body cars. Basically, the only metal I really need is a patch for the lower left quarter panel.

I've been trying to gather up scraps of metal from work to try and make my own, but it seems fairly complex. There are about 3-4 body lines down there that don't appear to be parallel to each other, not to mention the wheel flare unique to the Regal. I think the biggest challenge would be to replicate the drain hole correctly. There aren't many Regals in salvage yards here either (never seen one in 2 years), and if one showed up, I doubt they would have metal down there better than mine.

If there isn't a place to get metal for Regals other than buying a full quarter panel, do the Monte Carlo patches have a factory style drain hole at the bottom? I don't think I could use much else from one otherwise. Any help would be appreciated (I don't want to stuff the rust with Bondo making a bigger mess and not fix the problem).

you are going to have to find a used panel, maybe cut one from the salvage yard? i see them on ebay once in awhile but the GN guys pay top dollar for them so they bring allot of cash usually
