Hey , Im looking into buying a 81 Regal converted into a 1985 Grand national Drivetrain , The guy claims the car needs Door needs to be lined up better and adjust the windows as well? what dose that mean? the car dosent really look like a 81 either so im curious is this a 81?? also im from Canada and the guy claims its a rust free southern car i think 3000 dollars isnt a bad deal on a beast with the mighty 3.8 turbo?

I would be interested to see the engine bay and the car. Seems too good to be true for a rust free turbo car with an 8.5 /2004-R, that just the doors need to be loosened and adjusted a bit, or the door pin bushings need replaced.

What kind of mileage is on this GN drive train?
 
Here is the Engine Bay and the interior im guessing the car has like 150 000 Kms at the least he didnt say im going to see it this wensday so will see what happens.

If he re-bodied the car they did 1 heck of a job. That is an 82-84 Lier seats in front. I can't see the sewn in lay if it is color or not.
The Electronic climate control you want to make sure is working. They are expensive to fix. That must be from an 84 interior not an 81.
Like I said if he did a conversion he did a nice job. Carpet is new as well & incorrect color for an 84 interior.
Under the hood there are certain things that need to be done to install an 85 Turbo drive trane & they look to have swapped every part.
It just seems to me if they did all that work why would they not change out the door hinges or pins?
