Hi all!~ I have a 1981 Regal that I have purchased 17x7 front and 17x8 rear rims... I would like some input on what tire sizes everybody thinks would fill the well up but have a lower profile for looks. I would also like to take ride comfort into consideration as this vehicle is a little 2 barrel 3.8L.
22,000 original miles on it so the suspension is nice and fresh with an attractive stance to it. No slouching or tilting. The car very rarely sees daylight so driving it with a slimmer sidewall and having a slightly bumpier ride is ok for putzing around on Sundays. I greatly appreciate your input as well as others that might have a 17" setup.

on my 87 i went with 245/45 up front and 255/40 rear, may change to 275 rear if it will fit.
