Removing 87 Regal Front Nose

I'm painting the chassis and firewall this weekend and want to remove the front nose off the Regal. Has anyone done this and where/how many bolts are holding it on? I'm located a few bolts that i know have to be removed but i know there are more. Can someone drop some knowledge on me? I want to paint the chassis without missing a few spots i can't get to due to the front nose. Thanks in advance yall..

Well there are two main core support bolts that tie the nose to the frame, then on top of the firewall where the hood hinge is there is a tall bolt on either side that needs to come out, as well as one tied to a little bracket from the firewall to the inner fender on either side. On the bottom side of the fender right in front of the rocker panel there is a bolt on either side that hold the bottom side of the fender to the body. If you are leaving the plastic inner fenders on there is a bolt with a big washer in the wheel well on either side that holds the plastic to the firewall. Dont forget to disconnect all your wiring and hood latch. Hope this made since

thanks for the info...but i'm leaving the front fenders on. I just want the nose off..

I'm removing the nose off my regal and cutlass. on the regal I started to take off all the bolts. there's about 4 that are right on top of the ledge that the fan shroud connects to (hope that makes sense) that connect to the nose cone and two on the bottom side of it. I would also remove the 4 bolds on each bumber shock and there are about 3 on the inside that connect the fenders to the nose. that way you can take the nose and bumber off as a whole.

All the bolts are a size 10 if i remember correctly.
