so do you just remove the torx and lift up on the back seat and it pulls off >?? not sure how this comes off an dont want to brake anything

Remove the seat belt reels and lift up on the seat back. It should just unhook.

Moving to appropriate place.

there is a strap on my regal under where the seat belts are so his might be the same. It is a T-50 bit and a pain in the *ss to get out.

If you cannot get them out, cut the strap and lift up on the seat. When you put it back in. screw the strap down with a sheet metal screw.

Yeah, just those two in the corners, the big T45 or T47 bolts. I think there are two others that need to come out to take the reels off too, but I am not sure. It is just the big ones that the seat back tabs bolt to though. I just looked at the seat back for my car and that is all there is.

ok cause i have some rust i have to attack to and the stap looks like some salt or oxidizing is gettin to the stap , but there is a few holes i pluged up for now with some silicone , cause of that the damping was moist so i just hope it isnt rusted or some how water getting behind the back of the seat

I got some rust too. my passenger side seat belt mount is a little rotted. I took out most of the insulation as that was trapping moisture too. I am going to flip the body of my car, sandblast the underside, repair it and undercoat it heavily,lol.....

water behind the seat, hmmm probably a bad back window seal, side windows or it's coming up through the floor.garden hose is goo to test, have a hekper sit in the car while you soak it down.
