removing dash?

How do you remove the dash? where are the screws and things? I am removing it to rewire and stuff and dont want to mess up the dash. any help is greatly apprieciated. 😀

Well by looking at the Grand Prix dash I got from the junkyard that I took out, there are the screws up by the defroster vents by the windshield, then there is one bolt on both the left and right side of the bottom of the dash and I believe there is one in the middle too. There maybe some others kind of up under the dash going to the firewall but I can't remember and haven't taken the one out of my el camino yet. You also have to drop the steering column down and unplug some harnesses.

oh ok. I will give it a look. also has anyone rewired their elky yet? I am gonna do one of those painless universal ones and thought I would check. Thanks for the input.

id say if yer gonna re wire yer elky, take lots of pics to remember where stuff goes and lay out the new wiring harnis like it would go in the car and take notes on how the old one comes out. other than that, take yer time and be patient(sp?). id love to re wire my elky but i have nott the time or place 🙁
