the trim is in mint shape, but the screws will just no budge :x so anyone know of a good way to get them out without ruining the trim?

hahaha same problem! spray some "pb blaster" or something?

Mine were a pain also. I just had to put all of my weight against the screw while turning the screw driver with vise grips on the handle to get them to budge.

There IS a trick to it. You will need the wheels off to do it, but it is not hard. The screws are stainless steel (IIRC), but usually are in very tight. The trick is to put the screwdriver in the slot (#2 Phillips?) and then whack it with a hammer. This loosens the screw by stretching the metal it is screwed in to. It should come out easily after a whack or two. It may be a little sticky at first though since GM sometimes used a dab of glue on the threads to lock it in place.

I ended up having to drill out a lot of the screws on my car. If done very carefully, you can drill right into the center of the X on the head, and pop the head off without touching the trim.
