Re: 1980 Malibu "Moving On" (Small Update)

You know what's AWESOME??? That you can work on things there YEAR ROUND! I lived in San Dog for a couple years during the early '90s, always sunny..60s minimum. No worries about rust or rot. Well, I 'had to' come back to NY. 17+ years later, I kind of regret it. Ah,well. As they say-"Whataya-gonna-do?" Thank GOODNESS we are having great weather up here though!!! Keep up the good work on that car! Hope my '80 goes smooth as that seems to be going. Love the shaved custom bumpers, by the way.

SO THESE ****ING *ssh*les STOLE THE WAGON THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!

I heard the alarm going off and i run outside and the car is gone. A neighbor (who sat and watched the whole thing knowing it was my car) saw two hispanic guys with a red "not for hire" tow truck take it. There was no steering wheel and no ECM in the car so that was the only was to move it.

The jack'n' the box drive thru window camera saw the whole thing but they wont let me go in the back to see the tape, and the police WONT come out to escort me back there to see the tape, they apparently don't have any available cars

Shoot for the face first, and ask questions............NEVER!!!!!!

Karma will get those Pricks..........If the wheels of a bus don't first!!!

Re: 1980 Malibu "Moving On" (Small Update)

Picked up my rear seats from my cousin today. I think they are....ok for what i paid. There are a couple things that im not so happy with but they will do the job for now. I will be picking up the two buckets tomorrow which im a bit more anxious to see how they turned out after reassembled. The last time i seen them they weren't hooked into the frames yet.

I purchased the fabric myself which i do like very much. My kuzzo had a problem bekuz the fabric is Black Leather and the back of it is a red suade. so when he was stitching some of the red would pushed through with the needle. I am content with them tho.

Won't be installing them for alil bit, still gotta let my carpet settle since its been rolled up in the box for a will.

WIll have more updates soon.

You can see the red here
